Barrel Bolts are used on double doors to make one door stationary, You attach one to the top and another to the bottom. Just release the bolts to open the stationary door. They are yellow zinc plated, spring loaded to provide locking abilities, base plate measures 1" x 1- 5/8". Picture shows two barrel bolts on open position, one closed position. Barrel Bolts are sold in pairs and come with screws needed to attach to sheds.

Works great but be careful
I have 2 of these things holding my non-locking side of my shed door in the closed position. I have no complaints except with the strength of the locking pin. With my door all the way open the bolt sprung down and when I went to shut the door the bolt bent. I put it into my bench vise to bend it back and it broke in two. I just had to order another set because I didn't receive any help when I reached out about the quality of the product.
